A beautiful Victorian 15ct gold ring dating to 1864, set with five graduated faceted garnets in rich purple-red tones.
The three larger oval-cut garnets are flanked by smaller stones at either side, creating a wonderfully substantial graduated arrangement across the finger. Beneath the stones, ornate gold scrollwork forms an intricate open gallery — a particularly lovely detail when the ring is viewed from the side.
Fully UK hallmarked and dating to 1864, this is a characterful piece of Victorian jewellery now more than 160 years old.
