Ray Jack TSF Navajo Native American Sterling Silver Inlay Pendant
A striking sterling silver inlay pendant designed by Navajo artist Ray Jack and produced in collaboration with A Touch of Santa Fe (TSF) , featuring a wonderfully graphic Southwestern landscape design. The circular pendant combines turquoise, black onyx, picture jasper and opal in an intricate pictorial inlay. Against the warm, naturally patterned jasper background, strong black and turquoise geometric forms create a stylised interpretation of rays reaching outward from a small turquoise structure, with vibrant opal being the finishing touch to the cosmic, mystical rays — a wonderfully distinctive composition with the feeling of the desert landscape captured in miniature.
The substantial articulated bail continues the design featuring all of the inlay stones, making it an integral part of the piece rather than simply a functional fitting. Marked Ray Jack and TSF 925 Sterling to the reverse.
